Ola Electric made a surprising announcement regarding their S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters, Ola Announced Recall For S1 and S1 pro stating that they are recalling them due to a front fork failure issue, as this breakdown is a very severe problem. This issue has caused some owners to suffer from severe injuries.
Finally, the company has taken steps to address its customers’ concerns by offering a free front arm upgrade.
To get the front arm upgrade, customers will need to make an appointment in advance. As per the news, the upgrade process is set to start on March 22, 2023.
Ola Announced Recall For S1 and S1 Pro for Front Fork Failure
Ola Electric released a statement to express their gratitude towards the community of 200,000 for joining them in Mission Electric. The statement also addressed concerns that were considered “unfounded” by the company.
Ola Electric claimed that the front fork design was not flawed, but it was still upgraded to improve its durability and strength. Interestingly, so far the Ola company did not use the word “recall” in any of its communications.

If you’re not familiar, the Ola S1 and S1 Pro models have a unique single-sided front fork design whereas the Ola S1 Air has a more traditional telescopic fork. Well, the suspension breakage issue is a very serious problem for a lot of owners.
With the latest design, Ola has reinforced the bottom section of the single fork with an extra bracing member for added strength.
